Slit Lamp
A slit lamp is a microscope with a light attached that allows the doctor to closely examine the eye.
This powerful microscope is used in a procedure known as slit lamp biomicroscopy.
Autorefractor
An autorefractor is a machine used to measure a person's refractive error and prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
Tonometer
A tonometer measures the pressure of the eye by very gently touching the cornea. A tonometer that actually touches the eye requires numbing drops to be instilled into the eyes. Many doctors also use an air -puff tonometer that blows air onto the eyes to measure eye pressure or test for glaucoma. And the most important tool for measuring eye pressure is a device called a tonometer.
Ocular® Maxfield® 90D
90D lens: It is a widely used and the most popular slit lamp fundus examination lens. Its image magnification is 0.76x. Though the lens actually minifies the retinal image, a magnified image of the retina may be visualized using the magnification system of the slit lamp.
Retinoscope Beta 200
Retinoscopy is an exam technique that objectively measures the refractive error of the eye. This is done by looking through an optical instrument called a retinoscope to observe the movement of reflected light in a patient's pupil.
Ophthalmoscope Beta 200 S
The direct ophthalmoscope allows you to look into the back of the eye to look at the health of the retina, optic nerve, vasculature and vitreous humor. This exam produces an upright image of approximately 15 times magnification.
Ophthalmic Trial Lens Set
A trial lens set is a type of ophthalmology measuring instrument used in ophthalmology departments in hospitals and opticians to detect the refractive state and strabismus, or amblyopia and other visual functions of the human eye.
LensoMeter and Lens Drilling
A lensmeter or lensometer is an instrument used to verify the prescription of eyeglasses or spectacles. Many lensmeters can also verify the power of contact lenses with the addition of a special lens support.
Distance Eye Testing Vision Drum
A vision drum eye test is a rotating instrument that tests vision by creating a moving visual field for the subject while they remain stationary. The subject sits facing the drum's wall, which usually has stripes on the inside. As the drum rotates, the subject's eyes follow the moving stripes.
